Bistrot de Venise restaurant operates within Venice, Italy’s San Marco district, at Calle dei Fabbri, 4685.
In business since 1993, Bistrot De Venise is an elegant restaurant offering modified (modernized) versions of traditional Venetian dishes, plus more than 60 wines by the glass.
Since 1999, Bistrot de Venise has been blending culture, food, and wine from the Veneto region, making the restaurant a place where people can meet up and savour the cuisine & wine as they enjoy figurative arts, poetry, cultural gatherings and a host of other activities dedicated to Venice.
The restaurant’s menu has lots of with examples of fresh takes on historical Venetian cuisine by recipes created by Venetian chefs from the past such as Bartolomeo Sacchi (also known as Platina), Bartolomeo Scappi, and others (from the 14th to the 18th century).
Both the classic & modern Venetian cuisine dishes often use fish and shellfish from the sea and the lagoon, meals you can enjoy during a, say, romantic candle light dinner (with private dining rooms available).
